SESSION 1: Virtual

Talking to customers in person is second nature to most business owners. Talking to people online requires a shift in how you communicate and sell.

In this session, you’ll nail down your messaging, so customers instantly connect with your brand and are quickly primed to buy your digital offer.

We’ll help you choose the most effective method of digital marketing for your business and offer. You’ll learn how effective social media and search engine marketing raises awareness of your brand so you can increase desire for your offer and turn browsers into buyers.

The easiest way to sell your digital offer is to get in front of people who need what you offer! Your go-to-market strategy will lay out the exact daily and weekly actions you need to take to find and engage buyers. We’ll cover organic social media and paid social outreach via google, Facebook, Instagram, and email.

SESSION 4: Virtual

In this session, you’ll put together your online sales page for your digital offer — just like the one you’re reading now! Your sales page will be fully integrated with your payment processor to allow customers to place their orders online.

We’ll guide you step-by-step as you develop a digital advertising campaign using Facebook, Google, Sumo, and MailChimp. Your campaign will include posts, ads, and follow-up emails to engage buyers.

Launch your ad campaign on Facebook, Instagram, Google, or YouTube. With hands-on guidance. Learn how to set up your ads, track key performance indicators (KPI’s), and sales metrics.

Requirements for acceptance to Grow Lab

Must have one year or more in business as small service or product based business

Business Address must be in the city of Kalamazoo (online businesses with Kalamazoo address)

Must be able to deliver products or services by December 1, 2022

Why don’t I have to pay anything? Is there a catch?

Grow Lab is completely funded by the City of Kalamazoo. This includes your advertising stipend, sponsored software use, and training by Roguebotic, LLC.

What’s required of me?

Participants will provide feedback in a pre-engagement survey, a post-engagement survey, and a 90-day one-on-one follow-up session with Roguebotic. Metrics, business growth, and progress will be reported back to the City of Kalamazoo Community Planning and Economic Development Department. Each accelerator participant will attend 6 90 minute sessions. 1 in-person session and 5 live sessions hosted on Zoom. Participants are strongly encouraged to implement their marketing plan and offer within 30 days of completing the sessions.
